It takes time and money to manufacture unique eyewear. Beginning with beautiful raw materials, longer-lasting hinges and screws, implementing high standards, and hand finishing eyewear, it's a hands-on process with at least fifty steps to each frame produced.
When you wear one of these personally made frames you can feel the difference. We travel to meet our trading partners and learn about their ethics and work practices. Things like how the owners treat their employees matter to us, and help us decide whether we'd like to trade with one another.
